The Very Rev. Dr. Herbert G. Hand – Pastor

Herb is the founding pastor of Faith Anglican Church. He has a wide range of ministry experience, having served in South Carolina, Alabama, North Dakota, and Honduras. The Rev. Frederic Ndaruhutse – Pastoral Associate

Frederic was born in Rwanda where he received his Teaching Diploma, (Groupe Scolaire de Kabare, Rwanda), Certificate in Bible School (Kasulu Bible School, Tanzania), and Diploma in Theology & Divinity and Bachelor of Divinity (Uganda Christian University). He is now a Prospective student at Trinity School for Ministry (Ambridge, PA) in the Master’s Program.  Frederic is passionate about teaching Holy Scripture and bringing people to Christ.


 Noland Pipes

The Rev. L. Noland Pipes, Jr. – Pastoral Associate

Noland came to Memphis in 1986 at the invitation of Bishop Alex Dickson in order to serve the Diocese of West Tennessee as Priest Evangelist (Canon Missioner) with the charge to help congregations practice intentional evangelism and to explore the development of new congregations. He has served several parishes in Louisiana and Tennessee, and as Assistant Headmaster and Dean of Students at All Saints' Episcopal School in Vicksburg, MS. Beginning in 2002 Noland helped serve emerging congregations in Alabama and Mississippi, while assisting at Faith.

The Rev. Deacon Dr. Fred Ellrich - Associate for Pastoral Care

Fred’s passion is for the care of the sick, the poor, the widow, and the sojourner. Ordained and appointed as Associate for Pastoral Care in March of 2017, he is ready to move where the Lord leads in this ministry. Fred is an educator specializing in professional development and is retired after 30 years of experience in industry. As Faith’s first Deacon, Fred hopes to encourage others to discern whether the Lord is calling them to a call to the Sacred Order of Deacons.


Chris Mark

Mr. Chris Mark – Minister to Families and Youth

Chris has lived in Memphis his whole life and loves the city as well as the people in it. Before coming on staff here at Faith Anglican, he served as a Youth Ministry Intern for three years. He has a passion for spending time with youth and their families in order to help them grow closer together but also, and above all, to help them grow closer in their walk with our Lord through prayer, teaching, discipleship, and serving together.

Tom Newton – Minister of Music

Tom’s greatest desire is to lead God’s people to worship the Lord.  Tom has extensive musical experience as a band director and worship leader, and is an accomplished saxophone player.  He holds Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Instrumental Music Education.


Nursery Attendants
Sarah is a law student at the University of Memphis. She spends much of her free time geocaching. She also enjoys cooking and baking. An interesting fact about Sarah is that she was homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade.

 Laqueta Ferguson

Laqueta Ferguson – Parish Secretary

Laqueta Ferguson has been Fr. Herb’s secretary since 1998. She has been involved in many different ministries in the church and feels that her work in the church office is one of those ministries. She oversees the daily tasks of church communication, bulletins, organization, answers questions and even sometimes provides a friendly ear. Laqueta and her husband James have two married boys and two beautiful granddaughters.
